Club announcement – Blaydon Red Kites

Thanks to Chris for a very successful 5 years involved with Blaydon Red Kites Rugby

Blaydon Red Kites have gone from strength to strength since August 2020.

During this time Chris Morton has been at the helm and steered them to an impressive list of achievements:

• League – 3 promotions in 4 season
• Cup – back to back Durham Cup wins
• County 10s Champions - 4 seasons in a row
• Introducing a Red Kites 2nd team, who also achieved promotions
• Sizable amount of the team representing Durham at Twickenham

Chris has decided not to continue his role with Blaydon Red Kites. The Club would like to thank him for the commitment, time & effort he has put in, he leaves with a great list of team achievements. Thank you Chris, from Blaydon RFC.

We will keep you informed on new Leadership structure and additions to the coaching staff as we can.
